Dokusan- spiritual guidance and inner transformation.

Dokusan is a term that comes from the Zen tradition, and describes the private meeting between a teacher and a student for the goal of spiritual guidance and inner transformation.

Inspired from the concept, these meetings are a way for direct communication and guidance for those who wish to walk the path of spiritual awakening and to live more authentically. The key aspect in the meetings is open honesty, in order to dive into the source of a pattern or thought and bring light and wisdom to it.

There are two major aspects to the spiritual journey:

Inner alchemy that aims to transform imbalance to balance, the dense into light in order to bring our life to authentic flowering of our being.

Also the recognition of our already free nature, the unchangeable  essence that manifests itself in infinite shapes and forms.

In order to gain full understanding and natural flow in life one must grasp both and play between the two in deep listening. The two parts are complementary to one another and support each other.

In the meetings we will listen to the needs of the hour, gain understanding of the next step and discover the practice or the change of perspective we need to take. Many times a bit of wisdom and listening is all we need to expend and release.

With deep interest in the nature of life and reality from an early age, Matan began studying spiritual philosophies and paths, until he found his former spiritual teacher and followed him for several years. At the age of 22, Matan experienced a profound and deep spiritual awakening. After his self-identity was irreversibly shattered, he began a process of integration, which led into deep maturation and wisdom.
